Boston, MA – April 2nd, 2024 - RefAssured, Inc., a leading provider of automated reference checking solutions, today announced the appointment of Aravinda (Vinda) Souza as Chief Marketing Officer. With almost twenty years running corporate marketing and PR for leading tech companies – with a fifteen-year focus on the human capital management ecosystem – Vinda's strong industry pedigree, narrative storytelling ability, and deep appreciation for the needs of staffing firm executives and operators, will deliver immediate value to RefAssured and its rapidly growing customer base.
As RefAssured’s Chief Marketing Officer, Vinda will lead the company’s corporate and industry marketing efforts, as well as being a strong partner to RefAssured customers and prospects in navigating challenges and capitalizing on opportunities within the broader HCM landscape. In addition to key marketing leadership roles at established platform tech and staffing companies, Vinda spent almost ten years at Bullhorn, where she ran content marketing, PR, analyst relations (which included advisory relationships with Staffing Industry Analysts, the American Staffing Association, Gartner, and Forrester), customer marketing, industry marketing, M&A communications, and strategic thought leadership. She was also the narrative and content architect for the Bullhorn Engage series of conferences, solidifying her lifelong love of the staffing industry. Additionally, she served on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Staffing Association for five years, and currently serves on the American Staffing Association’s IDEA Group Council.
Vinda started her career in high-tech agency public relations at fama PR, managing key brand awareness and client service relationships with large multinational technology companies across the energy, data management, mobile/wireless, and industrial sectors.
